Yeondukong x Memebox Easy Brightening Stick #01 Brightening Beige Review

Today I wanted to share my thoughts on Yeondukong's Easy Brightening Stick in Brightening Beige #01 from Memebox.
I'm always in search of a good concealer to cover up my red acne scars and was curious about the formula of this product.

Who is Yeondukong?
I'd never heard of Yeondukong before this collaboration. She is a Korean beauty guru with a presence on YouTube. Memebox describes her as as 25 year old, ultimate "gwiyomi" (cutie) beauty guru. She shares beauty tips that are quick and easy, perfect for students and workers who want to look great on the go.

Product Description
Creamy, retractable stick that instantly brightens the complexion and covers blemishes.

Price
This is $12 for 10g. With a 10% discount code, I paid $10.80 for the concealer/highlighter.

My Thoughts
Both the packaging on the box and concealer are cute and simple. Since the case is white, I hope it doesn't get too dirty over time. There is barely any scent to the concealer, yay! As written in the description this is a stick concealer which I prefer for the convenience factor. You can carry this in your purse and touch up anytime throughout the day.
At first I thought the concealer was too yellow but the color blended in perfectly on my face. For reference, my complexion is on the lighter side in the winter and changes to light-medium in the summer. I'd imagine those with darker skin tones would use this as an under eye brightener instead of a concealer to cover up imperfections on the face. Keep in mind I'm using the product to cover blemishes. The formula is incredibly creamy and just melts on to the face. You can use a brush or beauty blender as well if that's your preference but I had the best results when I used my fingers to blend the concealer in. The coverage is very good and covers most of my fresh acne scars. If the scars ever fade this concealer could double as a foundation or I could get away with only applying this concealer to my face. After I set the product with a little powder, I got around 4-5 hours of wear time which is great for a stick concealer. In my experience they don't wear as long as liquid concealers. I'm curious to see if this holds up as well in the summer.

Final Thoughts
I will definitely use this concealer on a regular basis. It's creamy, convenient, affordable, has a great wear time, and gives good coverage. This was a perfect shade for me but won't work for those with really dark complexions. There is another shade, Easy Shading Stick #01 Countering Brown, that's meant to be a bronzer but might work as a concealer for some of you out there. The shade is currently sold out on the website so keep checking the site regularly if you're interested. I'm loving the Memebox brand products I've bought so far. There is a new collaboration with Dayeong named XO Black which really appealed to me. Look out for a review I'll be posting about one of their products!

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
Jennifer
