On days when you don't wash your hair, it can be oily, limp, & weighed down. This weightless formula cleans and refreshes to transform you hair from lifeless to bouncy. With just a few quick sprays, your hair will be fresh, clean, and full of healthy-looking body even when you skip your regular wash.
Ever since I read about the benefits of infrequent hair washing I'd been trying to "train" my hair. During that time, I had been in search of THE dry shampoo to help with greasiness in between washes. I tried brands from Batiste to Klorane, which were favorites for many people. I've gone back to daily shampooing because it seems to be better for my hair type. I got off topic but this Dove dry shampoo was one of the few I tried out during the training period. I REALLY did not like this! First of all it's heavily fragranced and lingered around for what seemed like forever. I could smell it in my hair for hours and it would give me a headache. Then it would leave white residue in my black hair no matter how much I massaged and brushed it in. This in no way gave me bouncy hair, not even close. It almost seemed to make my hair look greasier and lifeless after a few hours on second day hair. Will not purchase this ever again, especially since I have no need for dry shampoos now.

This invigorating mist moisturizes and soothes the skin with key ingredients like Aloe, Green tea, Cucumber, and Vitamins A, C, and E. The lightweight, comfortable and alcohol free formula improves makeup wearability and prevents color from running or fading.
I almost feel bad including this mist because it's only $3 but it's still a product that disappointed me. Less than a week after purchasing this the bottle started to break down. Instead of spraying a fine mist, I was hit in the face full force with the product. Aside from packaging issues, this smells bad. I can't describe the smell but it's not one I'd want in anything. As for the effectiveness of the product, it doesn't offer any longevity in the wear time of my makeup. There are some ELF products I really like but this it not among them.
Bare Minerals Pure Brightening Serum Foundation
Bare Minerals Pure Brightening Serum Foundation
Product description
A breakthrough tone correcting mineral foundation and skincare serum in one. Skin perfecting fluid provides seamless adjustable coverage, a natural finish, and the look and feel of beautiful skin while delivering a noticeably brighter more youthful appearance.
I was pretty excited when this foundation appeared in stores since I'm a big fan of Bare Mineral's original foundation. The foundation is fairly affordable at $29 and there are plenty of shades available. There is a brush that goes along with the foundation but it's as much as the foundation itself, $28. That was crazy to me so I passed on the brush. My issues were with the formula itself. It would crease, slide around, emphasize any sort of dry patches no matter how much I exfoliated beforehand, and wipe off my face easily. I think part of this is due to the formula containing so many natural ingredients. It looked great on my face the first hour or so and would go downhill from there. Stay away if you have oily skin.
Fresh Umbrian Clay Face Treatment Purifying Mask
I won't even bother with the product description because it looks like this particular mask has been discontinued. Fresh now has an umbrian clay mattifying mask which is the closest match to this. I bought this when my hormonal acne first began to flare up. The directions say this can be used as a daily purifying face cleanser or an instant detoxifying face mask. I used it only as a mask or a spot treatment since it seemed like a waste of money and product to use this as a cleanser. While I thought my face felt soft and clean after using it, I didn't see any miraculous results. This seemed overpriced and didn't improve the overall condition of my skin like the product description claimed. I've had this mask for a few years and it's been untouched for at least a year and a half!
