Physician's Formula Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin CC Curl + Care Mascara Review

Earlier in the month I had a mini drugstore haul and bought the Organic Wear CC Curl + Care Mascara from Physician's Formula. I've had a chance to try it out and wanted to share my thoughts.

My Thoughts
My least favorite makeup product is mascara. As a contact lens wearer mascara irritates my eyes and I end up never using it. That's not to say I don't need it! I've got typical Asian lashes: short, sparse, and straight. That's pretty much the worst combination you can have for eyelashes, the 3 evil S's. So, I was on the lookout for something more natural and wearable for someone with sensitive eyes. The ingredient list is great and I was immediately curious when spotting this mascara at the drugstore. I like the silver packaging which makes it look cool and slightly futuristic. The brand claims this is fragrance free but I can catch a whiff of something. Thankfully that something is a light and pleasant scent. It smells like something I'm familiar with, sorry for being vague. It's been driving me nuts because I can't place where or what I recognize the scent from.
The most important thing for me is this mascara did not irritate my eyes. I didn't experience watery eyes, redness, or itchiness. And I didn't experience smudging or smearing under the eyes! I've read reviews from other people complaining about smudging with this formula but I had no issues. I wouldn't say the mascara does a great job with volumizing but it does give a good amount of curl with lashes. I did have a little help with the eyelash curler beforehand. This is a long wearing mascara and very buildable with no clumping. The applicator is nice and does a good job of separating the lashes while applying the mascara. If you're going for a dramatic evening look, this probably isn't for you but it's great for an every day natural eye look.

Final Thoughts

I love this mascara! If you're in the market for a natural one, I would definitely give this a try. I've been wearing mascara on a regular basis since I bought this which is extremely unusual for me.
