Memebox January Box Global #19 Unboxing

Yay, I got a Memebox in the mail the other day after patiently waiting for almost 2 weeks! However, I'm kicking myself for not having ordered more boxes because many are currently sold out. Memebox announced a little over a week ago that they will put an end to international deliveries and only offer shipping to China, Korea, and the U.S. I'm not sure what this means in terms of their business going forward but I really hope they continue to sell Meme BOXES. It's clearly going to be a transitional period for the company so we'll see what comes out of their decision to do business in these three countries.

Anyhow...let's talk about this January Box ($29.99). The info cards are back which is convenient and very appreciated!

The Choute Aurora Pearl Base 30ml ($18)

How to use

I'm excited to start using this pearl base although I have a few base products to go through. It has a nice, light fragrance and does seem to leave a "pearlescent light pink base." I was a little concerned it might leave my face shimmery or sparkly but it seems to add a very subtle glow to the face.

It's the perfect time to have received a toner since I'm almost out of the June Jacobs Green Tea & Cucumber Toner. It seems as if this toner may contain alcohol in it which isn't so great but I'll give it a try. I'll have to ask my mom to translate the ingredients when I see her since it will take me forever to read and translate this myself. I'll update this section when I find out!

Meh, not as excited about a face wash but it's because I have way too many. I might pass this off to a friend or family member. I can't tell if I like this scent or not which surprised me since it should have a fruity scent. If you read my posts regularly you should know by now that I love anything that smells like fruit. It sort of smells like a clean luxury hotel bathroom, maybe there's something wrong with my nose.

I can't help but get excited about products that target dark spots and pigmentation. I've got so many red acne spots on my face that I'm willing to give anything a try. As I've said in previous posts I have yet to find that "miracle" product. Fingers crossed this cream makes a slight difference.

Call me a weirdo but does anyone else like saying the word galactomyces? Just thought I'd throw that out there. I have another product that contains galactomyces (told you I liked that word) and I never knew what it was supposed to do until now. From what I could find, it's a natural enzyme used in breweries to make liquor. It was discovered that the brewers' hands were distinctively more transparent and elastic than their actual ages. Galactomyces are rich in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids and are recognized as the best ingredient for a beauty care enzyme. They turn the skin bright, transparent, and more elastic.

Final Thoughts
I am very happy with this box, 5 full sized products and 4 sample packets for $29 is a great deal. The only product I may not use is the face wash because I own too many as it is. I'm most excited to try out the pearl base and the capsule cream and will let you know what I think if you're interested.
