Memebox Luckybox #13 Unboxing

And I'm back for another Memebox unboxing! This week has turned out to be a Memebox fest. This is the last box I'll ever receive from Korea with the company since they halted international shipping. The good thing is we don't have to wait weeks for our orders since it seems everything will be shipped from CA now. The bad thing is we the customers don't know what changes are in store for us in terms of products and the availability of boxes.

Shara Shara Tempting Avocado Chocolate Massage Cream (100ml $11)
Product Description
Replenish and rejuvenate skin with richly nutritious blend of avocado oil, cacao extracts, and banana extracts. This will deeply nourish, firm up, and smooth out rough, sagging skin, bringing back a healthy glow to your complexion.
How to use
Spread evenly over clean face and gently massage for about 5 minutes, Rinse off with lukewarm water.

The combination of avocado and cacao extracts sounds quite luxurious to me. It sounds like a quick mask minus the massaging part since it involves rinsing the face. Sometimes I'm too lazy to do that after having washed my face so I'll resort to a sheet mask instead. This does intrigue me and I'm looking forward to smelling this on my face!

Yadah Anti-T Spot Cream (15g $15)
Product Description
This Anti-T Spot Cream boosts a fast absorbing, creamy formula enriched with cactus, green tea, rosemary, aloe vera, and sage extracts and completely free of paraben, benzophenon, mineral oil, sulfate, artificial coloring, and animal ingredients. Its gentle, naturally-derived ingredients are non-stimulating on even the most sensitive skin types and they effectively treat red spots and blemishes for a cleaner and clearer complexion.

By some stroke of luck my hormonal acne has been improving. I'm almost afraid to put this in writing for fear of jinxing myself. In any case I still have a pimple or two that needs to be spot treated so this will definitely be put to the test. I do have a spot treatment from the Tea Tree box that needs to be cracked out as well so I'm set for acne treatments. I like the ingredient list so I'm curious if something more natural will have an effect on my acne.

Lassie'el Night Miracle Sleeping Pack (4g x 2ea $6)
Randomly selected from Mango, Egg, Pearl Shell, Avocado
Product Description
Adorably packaged mini sleeping packs formulated with concentrated extracts from egg, mango, avocado, and pearl. They work to deeply hydrate and rejuvenate dry, exhausted skin overnight to reveal healthier and brighter complexion the next morning.

If you remove the lid, there's a spatula inside which is pretty handy. You can also go to bed without rinsing this off, yay for the convenience factor. Since we're halfway through winter, I'll use this before the weather warms up.

Mise En Scene Perfect Serum (70ml $9)
Product Description
This highly concentrated serum is to be used before and/or after blow drying to give your hair the silky, well-nourished finish. It's enriched with 7 different natural oils - argan, camellia, olive, jojoba, coconut, apricot, and marula - and its oil-like formula quickly absorbs into the hair without making it sticky or greasy.

I've heard good things about this brand from chatter in the Memebox community. I don't typically use hair serums in my hair since my first thought is "grease ball" at the thought of using it, especially in the summer. However, it's winter and my hair has been suffering from some major static. So, maybe this will help without making my hair greasy like the description claims.

Dr. MJ Moisture Bounce Collagen Capsule Cream (50g $54)
Product Description
A rejuvenating facial cream formulated into bouncy, jelly-like texture packed with collagen capsules, hyaluronic acid, and adenosine to intensively hydrate and gently firm up sensitive and tired skin. It works to alleviate and nourish stimulated skin for a quick skin renewal as well.

I had to look up adenosine since I'd never heard of it. It has an anti-aging benefit to the skin by penetrating deeply into the skin to prevent wrinkles and reduce UV B sun damage. Apparently it is particularly effective for crow's feet and forehead brown lines by increasing blood flow to the outer layers of skin improving damage repair and cell volume resulting in a fuller appearance. Sounds good to me! I'm interested to see how bouncy the texture of the cream is.

La Bellona Camellia Oleifera Oil Clinic (50g $11)
Product Description
Restore dry, damaged, and brittle hair with this super restorative hair miracle. Camellia flower and hydrolyzed collagen in the formula add a protective layer on dry or damaged hair to reduce hair's porosity to minimize brittleness, and increase hair's resistance to breakage. Use it as a daily hair conditioner for hair that is silky soft to the touch, or use it as a weekly hair treatment to bring back life into dull locks.

Sigh, another hair product. I don't mind one hair product but two types of hair treatments are not to my liking. I'd rather receive another face wash than this and we all know how I feel about receiving facial washes. I'll be passing this off to my mom since she's got drier hair than me. I've got the exact opposite of dry, damaged, brittle hair, it's more like fine, greasy hair. I feel like this will just weigh my hair down.

Final Thoughts
It's the end of a Memebox era and on to the next generation. So what did I think about this final box? There were 6 items in the box which I purchased for $29.99 plus $6.99 for shipping. The total value of the box was $106. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not thrilled about receiving the hair treatments and neutral about the sleeping pack. I'm curious about the Avocado Chocolate Massage Cream and the Yada T Spot Cream. The product I'm most interested in is the Dr. MJ Bounce Cream. I didn't think this was a terrible box but I wouldn't have been upset if I had passed on the opportunity to purchase this box.

As always, thanks for stopping by!
Jennifer
