My Thoughts
I wasn't sure what to expect with the wrinkle line patches and had very low expectations as far as the final results. I don't have deeply embedded smile lines YET, fingers crossed, but I'm starting to experience some lines in that area. It's all about preventative measures when it comes to wrinkling. I remember looking at my father not too long ago (he's 70) and wondering his secret to keeping wrinkles at bay, especially around the crow's feet area and the mouth. His answer was simple, "I don't smile." That is certainly one way of preventing wrinkles and I've heard of some women who don't smile widely or laugh often for that reason Anyway, I like to smile so that's not an option for me.

Enter Tony Moly My Little Pet Wrinkle Line Patches. The packaging is so cute, as I've come to expect with the majority of Tony Moly products. There's a little bulldog wearing a crown with the wrinkle patches on his/her cheeks. The patches are housed in a plastic case and slippery once you take off the protective film so be careful.

The scent is pleasant, kind of reminds me of a light floral perfume. I was worried the patches wouldn't stick on to my face and I'd have to lie down the whole time. Luckily they adhere to the face amazingly well and you can go about doing your business for the recommended 30 minutes. The texture of the patches reminds me of the Leaders Coconut sheet masks because of the gel material.

I like that the patches aren't dripping excess essence but somehow have enough essence to work its magic for 30 minutes. The ingredient list includes adenosine and a whole host of extracts like grapefruit, safflower, rugosa rose, peony, green tea, sophora root, peach tree leaf, ginko leaf, lonicer aflower, and a water soluble collagen. These patches are cooling like a regular sheet mask and so comfortable I almost forgot to peel them off my face.

I loved the results of the wrinkle line patches. While I didn't see a huge difference, the smile line area did look smoother and plumper. (One of these days I'll post pictures of my face where you can see the actual results. For now, I'm still uncomfortable with the idea of baring a no makeup face to all of you!)

Final Thoughts

I will definitely purchase Tony Moly's Wrinkle Line Patches again. I only ordered three and have already used all of them! The patches are perfect for anyone looking into preventative measures for wrinkling in the smile line area or for temporary and quick results if you have minimal wrinkling in that area. (maybe for a date, pictures, or an important meeting) Don't expect miraculous results but it will improve the appearance of your smile lines. Perhaps some of you are asking why not use a sheet mask that covers the whole face but I like that the patches just concentrate on one specific area.
