Pony x Memebox Glam 3 Eyeshadow Quad and Blossom Lipstick Review

Memebox recently launched Pony's Shine Easy Glam 3 It's A Floral Affair. Unfortunately I didn't purchase the first two eyeshadow palettes which is the reason why I caved on this one. For those of you who don't know Pony (her real name is Park Hye Min) she is a self-taught makeup artist with a huge presence on YouTube.

Since 2008 she has posted simple and easy makeup tips on her blog and published five makeup books to date. She teamed up with Memebox to design products that are beginner friendly and can glam you up instantly.

Shine Easy Glam 3 Floral Collection Description
Spring is in the air and PONY x Memebox is back in time to satisfy your K-Beauty cravings with the hottest Spring '15 trend, florals. Inspired by soft, delicate petals, this collection is the epitome of elegant and feminine makeup looks with minimal effort.

I purchased the Pony Shine Easy Glam 3 Eyeshadow Quad in #02 Pink Bloom and two Pony Blossom Lipsticks in #01 Rose Garden and #02 Spring Romance.

There are two other eyeshadow quads in #01 Brown Bloom and #03 Orange Bloom. All the eyeshadows are feminine colors perfect for the spring with a silky formula that applies evenly, blends effortlessly, and stays put all day.

I love the packaging on the eyeshadow quad. The box has a floral pattern all over the front while the shadows are housed in a very sturdy case with a nice, large mirror.
The four shades are Glam Nude Beige, Glam Fair Pink, Shine Indie Pink, and Shine Ashy Brown.
These shades are so pretty and and really go along with the floral spring theme. The pigmentation on the two glam shades aren't quite as pigmented as I'd like. It takes some work to build up the color on my eyes. (I always use primer because smudging is an issue for me) However, the other two shine shades are a different story. With only one swipe you get very good payoff with the pigmentation.

I was a little concerned about fallout but I didn't experience any issues with this. The staying power of these shadows, with primer, are a solid 8 hours. The formula is silky just like the description states and great quality. I really do NOT need any more eyeshadows, especially since it's the makeup product I forego if I'm in a hurry, but I'm tempted to purchase the other two quads.

The lipsticks are formulated with a white flower complex, honey, shea butter to keep your lips moisturized and supple. These pigmented lipsticks have a semi-matte finish with just enough lustrous shine. The two other shades I didn't purchase are #03 Orange Dahila and #04 Blooming Love which have a glossy finish.

#01 Rose Garden is a reddish orange and #02 Spring Romance is a bright plum red with a semi-matte finish.

The lipsticks apply with a glossy finish but ultimately dry down to the semi-matte finish after fifteen minutes or so. There is a slight scent which is pleasant to me, a fresh floral smell, similar to the Etude House Sugar Tint Balms. No taste to the lipstick for which I'm grateful.

My lips have been in a funky state lately. I've been exfoliating them daily but I'm still experiencing flakiness and peeling. I applied some lip balm prior to the lipsticks but they're definitely moisturizing enough to skip the lip balm. I'm impressed by how moisturizing Memebox brand lip products are. So far I've tried the lip crayons, Haena's lipsticks, Hoyeon's Punk Matte Lipsticks, I'm Lipsticks, and now these and they're all creamy and extremely comfortable on the lips! The pigmentation is great on Pony's lipsticks as well and you can build up the intensity of the color with each swipe. Of the two shades I purchased, I prefer Spring Romance over Rose Garden but both shades are beautiful.

Final Thoughts
I am so glad I decided to purchase this collection. I really didn't need another eyeshadow palette or more lipsticks but these are a good addition to my rapidly growing makeup collection. Each of the shadow quads are currently $18 and each lipstick is $12. I managed to snag the pre-launch collection prices where the shadows were $14 and the lipsticks were $8. I got a really good deal on this order using points and a coupon code so I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase. There are three Pony Bloom Boxes currently available for $38 so you have a chance to try products from the Pony Floral Collection and other makeup products if you're curious about the Memebox brand.
