Memebox Ciracle Mask Bundle Set

I haven't tried any Ciracle products before but I have been tempted in the past to purchase several things from their anti-acne line. When their From Jeju Mask Set was released on Memebox, I instantly put in an order on the site.

I've never had a chance to visit Jeju Island, also known as Island of the Gods, because of time constraints with family obligations in Seoul. The next time I visit, hopefully next year, it's my mission to go to Jeju no matter what situation or obligation arises. It's a little over an hour from Seoul by plane and a popular holiday destination spot for Koreans with beaches, waterfall, cliffs, caves, and a dormant volcano, Hallasan. I've been obsessed with the spot ever since I saw the Korean drama All In or 올인 over a decade ago. The island's soil mixed with volcanic ash, native plants, an organic green tea farm, ect are attractive ingredients for many Korean skincare companies.

This is the first time I've tried anything with horse oil in it. It's supposedly a cream type horse oil that doesn't leave a greasy feeling. The mask is slimy which can be attributed to the creamy horse oil in the essence which looks like a milky lotion. Out of the three masks I tried, this fits my face the best. The mouth cut out is wide enough and covers the sides of my lower face quite well. This mask was a struggle to wear because I disliked the scent...A LOT. It smells like straight up perfume and it's strong. I only kept it on my face for 20 minutes because the scent wasn't going away and continued to linger for an hour or two after I removed the mask. There's some extra essence left over for 2-3 more uses. I was surprised with how non-greasy my face felt for the most part with the exception of my nose and a little of the surrounding area. This mask provides some nice moisture and if you can get past the smell it's a decent mask.

From Jeju Citrus Sudachi Whitening Mask
Product Description: Why is this mask yellow? Don't worry, this mask is not chemically dyed but has a yellow color from the camellia serum made with Gardenia and Sudachi extracts that naturally colors the mask sheet. Formulated with Carotenoid, this powerful antioxidant compound is directly delivered to your skin to rejuvenate and refresh your complexion. Boost up your moisture levels with the help of volcanic seawater instead of purified water and Vitamin C.
Ingredients: Sea Water, Citrus Sudachi Fruit Extract, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Dipropylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Glyceryl Polyacrylate, Allantoin, Rubus Fruticosus (Blackberry) Fruit Extract, Ribes Nigrum (Black Currant) Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Fruit Extract, Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract, Betaine, Sorbitol, Lecithin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ubiquinone, Diisopropyl Adipate, Alcohol, Gardenia Florida Fruit Extract, Dextrin, Raffinose, Trehalose, Inositol, Tripropylene Glycol, Histidine, Glutamine, Glycine, Lysine, Arginine, Cysteine, Hyaluronic acid, Propylene Glycol, Tropolone, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance
The mask is a pale yellowish shade as mentioned in the product description and contains a good amount of essence which is on the thicker side.
There's not much leftover essence in the pouch afterwards and what remains is frothy and bubbly. The scent is fresh and floral, a little too strong for my taste but it goes away eventually. The fit is good around the nose area and there's not much of a gap around the sides of the nose. And then there's the usual issues like not a wide enough cut out in the mouth area and not enough coverage on the sides of my lower face. Apparently the sheet mask is unique because it's a fibrous cellulose skinny sheet. Cellulose threads are woven into the sheet which is made of cottonseed and adheres to the face tightly. Despite this fancy speak I wasn't too impressed with the mask and didn't like the sticky feeling it left behind. I had to go in with a toner and wipe off the residue. Maybe with time there are noticeable whitening and brightening effects but I didn't see much of anything happening on my face after one use.

This mask fit a little differently from the others and was a little big in the eye area. It did cover the sides of my lower face better than the Sudachi Whitening Mask. There is a light fruity scent to this. I find it odd that I smell citrus when it's not listed in the ingredients but there are other berry fruits included. I love this kind of scent and found the mask extra relaxing. Once you remove the sheet mask from the pouch there is no remaining essence. The cheek area of the mask on both sides dried out pretty quickly, around the 20 minute mark, which rarely happens to me. The forehead and chin area still had a good amount of essence at the end. There was some white chalky residue that looked like dried toothpaste on my face after I removed the mask. Not sure what that's about but I do love this mask. It's perfect for my skin type in that it gives enough moisture to my face without making it greasy. Plus the pores around my nose appeared smaller immediately afterwards. I wouldn't recommend this to someone with normal to dry skin looking for moisture but someone with oily/combination skin and suffering from larger pores will most likely enjoy this mask.

FINAL THOUGHTS
The Ciracle Mask Bundle Set is currently available on the Memebox site for $13 with a retail value of $19. It's a great way to try each one to see what is or isn't suitable for your skin type. At the time of this post, the masks are not sold individually on the site which is a shame. I would definitely stock up on the Volcanic Pore Tightening Mask which, if you couldn't tell, is my favorite of the three masks I tried. I opted out of trying the Anti-Wrinkle Mask because I needed to get back to using a sheet mask that would target and calm down my recent breakout. I will most likely wait until the dead of winter to try it when my skin is less oily and write up an individual review of the mask if you're curious.
