I'm really enjoying sheet masking these days and have been stocking up on my mask supply left and right. I just purchased the Berrisom Animal Masks and Horror Mask so I'll be reviewing those and the Ciracle Masks in the next few weeks. So, let's take a look at the Dewytree Deep Detox Black Mask.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SCENT
This mask barely has a scent and I had to double check the ingredients list to see if there was any fragrance in it. It has an earthy scent, like mushrooms, which is interesting but barely noticeable.
FIT
The fit was pretty standard as far as sheet masks go. I had the usual issues like the mouth cut out not being wide enough or the lack of coverage on the lower sides of my jawline. There are eye flaps which you can choose to cover your eyes but I prefer to multitask and get some work done while masking. (or catching up on a K-drama or two. I'm loving D-Day right now.)
MY THOUGHTS
We have animal masks and masquerade ball type masks so a black mask doesn't seem to be all that different but I like the idea of it. Before you know it some brand will make a line of masks that contain all the colors in a rainbow and who knows what else. Anyway...the mask is a cloth like material which is surprisingly very easy to open and place on the face. I'm a little clumsy when it comes to opening up the sheet mask and usually create a small tear somewhere. The cloth is super saturated with essence and I mean saturated. It felt like the mask was drooping down for the first five minutes or so of wear time. The area around my eyes must have been sensitive because it was a bit itchy and uncomfortable. I almost took off the mask in the beginning but the feeling went away after awhile. I took the mask off after 25 minutes and the sheet still had a good amount of essence in it. Afterwards I rubbed the sheet on my neck, chest, hands, and elbows since you don't want it to go to waste. There's some leftover essence in the pouch which you can use the following morning or night depending on when you choose to sheet mask.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Initially I was a little meh about this. I expected bigger and more noticeable results from a mask that claims to draw out dirt from pores, absorb impurities, remove dead skin cells, ect. There's quite a number of claims. I saw no difference or improvement on my face before I went to bed. However, it was a different story the following morning! The majority of my acne had shrunk considerably and the mask caused some of them to surface much earlier than they normally would. The hard part was trying not to pick my face which, admittedly, I did. So yeah, I'm absolutely going to repurchase the Dewytree Deep Detox Black Mask in the future. If you struggle with oily/combination, acne prone skin you might want to give this mask a try.

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
