Goodal Watery Blue Flower Calming Mask Review

I was going through my used sheet masks to feature in an upcoming empty products post when I realized it would be easier to write up individual mask reviews that were a little more detailed. With that said, I saw the Goodal Blue Flower Calming Masks on the Memebox site (they were also sold on Hautelook not too long ago) and thought they might help with my skin issues.

Goodal, a combination of Good + All,  is the newest brand developed by Club Clio in 2011 with a focus on quality, natural skincare products free of parabens, sulfates, and other harsh chemicals that are damaging to the skin. They have become well known for being leaders in taking a natural approach to skincare.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Eliminates skin problems with the gentle, nourishing effect of water-blue flowers. Argan oil, which is gentle on the skin, makes skin moisturized and radiant, preventing the evaporation of moisture from skin by forming a film over skin. The green herb complex (green tea, tea tree, rosemary) intensely moisturizes skin and the sheet is LOHAS-certified 100% pure cotton fabric.
There are 7 other varieties to choose from:
Daffodil Moisture
Prunella Pore Care
Lily Whitening
Baby Perennis Radiance
Cherry Blossom Revitalizing
Orchid Lifting
Night Flower Nutrition

INGREDIENTS
water, glycerin, propylene glycol, PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, sodium hyaluronate, arginine, carbomer, allantoin, xanthan gum, disodium EDTA, acrylates/C10-30 alky acrylate crosspolyer, squalane, argania spinosa kernal oil, myosotis sylvatica flower/leaf/stem extract (1,000ppm), camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract, metaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) extract, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, zanthoxylum piperitum fruit extract, pulsatilla koreana extract, usnea barbata (lichen) extract, fragrance

HOW TO USE
After cleansing and toning carefully apply the sheet mask. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and remove. Pat in remaining essence for better absorption.

PRICE
Unfortunately the Blue Flower Mask is sold out on Memebox where I purchased it. Each individual mask was on sale for $1.50, original price $3, and I grabbed 3 of them. The Club Clio site has an ongoing sale, buy 2 mask pack sets, get 1 free for $40 (original price $60). Each pack set contains 5 mask sheets so you get 15 masks for $40.

SCENT
Strangely enough I'm detecting two scents from this Goodal sheet mask. The initial scent straight out of the pouch is like some sort of fresh vegetable, maybe a mix of cucumbers and celery, and then there's a strong floral perfume scent when you place the mask on your face. The scent is bearable but I'm not a fan of straight up floral scents in general.
FIT
The fit was better than the majority of sheet masks I've tried but it's not quite perfect. (I'm still trying to find one that is the perfect match for my face shape.) The cut out for the mouth area is small and not wide enough and I had to stay silent in order not to disturb the placement of the mask in that area. The other fit issue is one I'm always griping about and part of the issue is having a square jaw. (Square jaws in Korean women are not favorably looked upon and some will opt for a cosmetic surgery that shaves off some of the jaw area to create a V-line shape.) Sheet masks never seem to cover the sides of my jawline.
MY THOUGHTS
The sheet mask material is thicker and more durable than others so you don't have to be as careful when opening and placing the mask on your face. No matter how careful I am, I always end up creating a small tear in some part of the mask. The mask has a good amount of essence on it and I left it on for longer than the recommended amount of time, more like 30 minutes. Usually I'll pat the excess essence left over in the pouch on my neck, hands, arms, and elbows and there's still enough to use the next day or longer. However, the Blue Flower mask doesn't have as much left over essence like the Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Masks. This Goodal mask is a little more expensive than others so it would have been nice to have a little more essence for the next day(s).

FINAL THOUGHTS
The only thing I'm not crazy about with this mask is the scent but I can deal with it if the overall results are positive. Sometimes the acne around the sides of my chin will get itchy and this was the case before I tried it. It relieved the areas where I had the itchy sensation and calmed down some of my acne, particularly the areas with larger bumps. I would recommend this sheet mask if you're suffering from any skin conditions that need to be calmed down. People seem to rave about the LJH Tea Tree Facial Mask Sheet but I prefer this Goodal Watery Blue Flower Calming Mask. I'll definitely repurchase it when it comes back into stock on Memebox. (fingers crossed)
