Tester Korea Haul + Memebox

I've recently discovered the joys of shopping the samples section at Tester Korea. I'm inundated with too many full size products to justify buying more so I've convinced myself it makes sense to purchase samples. Plus you save money on shipping by purchasing packets since Tester bases their shipping costs by weight. By the way shipping was unusually fast this time around, a little under two weeks which is lightening fast for selecting the registered air mail option. It's the cheapest and slowest shipping option. The order total was around $35.

Laneige Water Bank Mineral Skin Mist

Optimal Mineral Water developed by minerals helpful for retaining moisture in a certain ratio, instantly moisturizes the skin and promotes skin regeneration. No ingredients list on the packaging or bottle and I can't find it online!
You need to shake this mist before use and it can be used over makeup. I'm flying to Paris in 5 days and needed a sample sized mist to take on the plane with me. Don't know if it's any good yet but I'll find out on the plane ride.

Some of the description makes no sense but you get the drift.
I saw the words Apple and Juicy and wanted to try the cleansing set. I like the scent and fell hook, line, and sinker for the packaging and description. That's good marketing.

My skin has been craaaazy for the past two months and I've been on a hunt for good tea tree masks. I just tried the Leaders Insolution Tea Tree Relaxing Renewal Mask and it was okay. It certainly didn't provide noticeable improvement to my acne so the search is on. I've heard people rave about LJH tea tree products so I thought I'd see what all the hype is about.

Salvatore Ferragamo Incanto Amity

Incanto Amity by Salvatore Ferragamo is a Floral Fruity fragrance for launched in 2014. It was created by Antoine Lie and Jean Jacque. Top notes are melon and mandarin orange; middle notes are jasmine, lotus and white peach; base notes are cedar and white musk.

Tester has an interesting variety of perfume samples and you can find them in the "Mini Perfume" category. I blindly bought the perfume but I had a feeling I'd like the scent after finding what the notes were. It's not as fruity as I expected it to be but I like it. I find the scent more pleasant about 30 seconds after I apply the perfume.

The Face Shop Chia Seed Fresh Cleansing Water

This no-rinse cleansing water gently cleanses all skin types. Its lightweight formula provides a pleasant sensation of freshness.

Apparently chia seed has moisturizing benefits and cotton seed extract absorbs excess sebum. The Face Shop has a whole line of chia seed products like a toner, toning mist, serum, lotion, moisturizer, and a sheet mask. I haven't used too many of their skincare products but now I'm curious about the brand. There's a physical store in NYC in the K-town area but I find everything overpriced there. I feel another Tester Korea haul coming in the near future! Tester Korea sells the full size product, 300ml, for 14,365 won=$12.48.
I've only used the cleansing water once and it was yesterday evening. I love it! It has a scent but it's really faint, practically odorless. I was itching to take off my makeup but didn't want to wash my face. To my surprise, the cleansing water did a pretty good job taking off makeup but I would suggest following up with a cleanser. I'm not sure about how it would do with eye makeup removal but it did take off my eyeliner. There are 10 sample bottles, 5 ml each, of the cleansing water and you can get 3-5 uses out of each bottle depending on how you use it. My only gripe is the bottles aren't filled to the top and some of them are half full. I shouldn't really complain since they were under $2.

I don't know if my skin will thank me but I sure hope it does improve my overall complexion! *Side note, ever since I went off the pill a few years ago my skin has gone berserk. I did go back on the pill for about a month 2 years ago and it cleared up my cystic acne right away. So, you're probably wondering why I don't go back on it again and it's for two reasons. 1) I'm trying to get pregnant and 2) I don't want to rely on medication. So, in the meantime I'm trying to figure out which products will actually relieve the situation.* Anyway, I thought I'd divulge a little more information about the background of my acne issues.
