Memebox Food Ingredients Skincare Box

As soon as Memebox released the spoiler for this box, the Nature Republic pack, I knew this was going to be a pretty good box. Let's take a peek inside and see what's in it!

BOX DESCRIPTION
Feed your skin with food ingredients! We've packed this box with foodie goodness to nourish and revive your skin. Not into eating your veggies and fruits? That's okay, slather them on your skin instead! #SkinFoodies

Skinfood Quinoa Rich Body Milk ($13)
This lightweight and rich body milk is formulated with quinoa extract to hydrate and protect your skin from dryness. Quinoa is an ancient grain that contains nutrients, minerals and protein- all things your skin needs to retain it's beauty.
How to use: Apply to skin liberally anytime it needs moisture.
Ingredients: Water, Mineral Oil, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cucurbita Pepo Fruit Extract, Solanum Lycopersicum Fruit Extract, Cucumis Sativus Fruit Extract, Brassica Oleracea Capitata Leaf Extract, Asparagus Officinalis Stem Extract, Apium Graveolens Extract, Pyrus Malus Fruit Extract, Brassica Oleracea Italica Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia Flower Water,Daucus Carota Sativa Root Extract, Dimethicone, Chenopodium Quinoa Seed Extract 5000mg,b Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Polysorbate 60,Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Triethanol amine, Carbomer, PEG-100 Stearate, Sorbitan sesquioleate, Disodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Phenoxyethanol, Caramel, CI 15985, Fragrance
Everyone can always use a body moisturizer and this Skinfood one is ginormous. The scent is pleasant enough but I wouldn't normally gravitate towards it. My preference is for skin and body care to smell like fruit. The body milk isn't thick or heavy and absorbs into the skin quickly.

3W Clinic Fresh Apple Mask Sheet ($4) 23g x 2
This 100% cotton sheet mask contains a high concentrate of apple extract to make your skin soft and smooth. Apple contains a high level of antioxidants that will brighten and improve the overall appearance of your skin.
How to use: Apply mask on cleansed skin and leave on for 20-30 minutes.
Ingredients: Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Ethanol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Betaine, Arginine, Cabomer, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Allantoin, Apple (.05%), Disodium EDTA, Fragrance
I've been using 3W's Clinic Collagen Make-up Base and loving it so I've developed a soft spot for the brand. I haven't tried their sheet masks so I appreciate the inclusion of 2 in the box. I won't use this until my chin clears up a bit. The cautions section states to avoid using this on blemishes, pimples, irritated or sunburned skin.

Nature Republic Fresh Vegetable Pack ($22)
This wash off mask is formulated with extracts of many nutritious vegetables, think broccoli, cabbage and carrots. The pack effectively removes dead skin cells to reveal brighter skin.
How to use: After washing face, apply an appropriate amount on dry skin, and leave on for 10-15 minutes until the pack is dry. Then wash off with lukewarm water.
Ingredients: Purified Water, Glycerin, Acrylates/Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Copolymer, Betaine, Alcohol, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Amaranthus Caudatus Seed Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Ficus Carica Fruit Extract, Solanum Tuberosum Pulp Extract, Daucus Carota Sativa Root Extract, Brassica Oleracea Italica Extract, Brassica Campestris Extract, Brassica Rapa Leaf Extract, Brassica Oleracea Capitata Leaf Extract, Solanum Lycopersicum Fruit Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Pueraria Thunbergiana Root Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract, Paeonia Lactiflora Root Extract, Cnidium Officinale Root Extract, Apium Graveolens Extract, Chicory Leaf Extract, Capsicum Annuum Fruit Extract, Soluble collagen, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Hydrogenated lecithin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, 1,2-Hexanediol, Acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, Sodium Hydroxide, Allantoin, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Xanthan Gum, Ceramide 3, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Yellow 5, Blue 1
The tub is going to last forever and I really want to crack into it now. However, I've got a large number of masks to go through and the vegetable pack doesn't expire for awhile. From what I've seen in pictures, the pack looks like an aloe vera gel and it helps to soothe skin. I might be more inclined to use this in the warmer months since it contains alcohol.

Face Shop Rice Ceramide Moisture Emulsion ($11)
Contains extracts from rice and ceramide to give long lasting moisture to the skin and improve its texture. Ceramide plays an important role in maintaining the skin's moisture barrier to prevent dryness, while rice extract contains skin soothing properties.
How to use: Using a cotton swab, apply to skin evenly. Pat gently for absorption.
Ingredients: Water, Glycerine, Dipropylene glycol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Betaine, Cyclomethicone, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Polyglyceryl-3 methylglucose distearate, Di-c12-13 alkyl malate, Oryza Sativa Extract, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Butyrospermum Parkii, Dimethicone, Lecithin, Caprylic/capric glycerides, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Butylene Glycol, Acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, Butylene Glycol, C12-14 pareth-12, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ceramide 3, Polyglyceryl-10 oleate, Hydrogenated lecithin, Glycosphingolipids, Carbomer, Potassium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Methylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Alpha-isomethyl ionone, Benzyl salicylate, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxycitronellal, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyde, Limonene, Linalool
This Face Shop Emulsion seems to be a popular pick in boxes at the moment since it was also included in this month's Mishibox. It looks like it will be too heavy for my skin but I may try it out in the winter or pass it along to my mother.

Botanic Farm Salmon Egg Hydrogel Eye Patch ($30)
Effectively eliminates imperfections around the eye in an instant. With its rich blend of premium ingredients including salmon egg, snail slime filtrate and colloidal gold, each hydrogel patch gives the thin skin layer around the eyes more strength and elasticity to be able to prevent further damage caused by the environment's harmful elements. Also contains aloe vera extract to gently soothe sensitive skin.
How to use: Apply under the eyes and leave on for 20-30 minutes. Should be used at the last stage of your basic skincare routine.
Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Chondrus Crispus, Ceratonia Siliqua Gum, Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba Gum, Agar, Potassium chloride, Glucose, Xanthan Gum, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Salmon Egg Extract, Caulerpa Lentillifera Extract, Dipropylene glycol, Adenosine, Disodium EDTA, Propylparaben, Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol,
Calcium lactate, Fragrance, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Yellow Oxide of Iron, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Carbomer, Triethanol amine, Allantoin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder, Niacinamide, Gold
This is a reminder that I need to use eye patches more often. I have yet to try the Petitfee Black Pearl & Gold Hydrogel patches since I purchased them a few months ago. I do use them on a regular basis in the fall and winter but my eye area doesn't need as much hydration in the summer. Sigh, the curse of having oily skin.

3 samples were included in the box:
Goodal Waterrest Lasting Water Oil
Cosrx Advanced Snail All In one Cream
Cosrx Aloe Vera Oil-free Moisture Cream
Apparently some customers received samples and others did not. I'm not sure why I received them but I sure do appreciate it! Into my samples container they go.

FINAL THOUGHTS
The Food Ingredients Skincare box and the SPF box are probably my two favorite boxes I've purchased in the past few months. All of the products in the Food Ingredients box, with the exception of the sheet masks, are huge and a great value. The box is currently in stock for $39 with a value of $80. With the help of a discount code and a few points, I paid $28.20 for the box. PLUS Memebox had a fun promotion with Memecat. They were scattered throughout the site and if you put one in your cart, you could get 5 extra points towards your next purchase with a $20 purchase, 10 points for $40, and so on. Each point accrued is equivalent to one dollar so points are highly valued in my opinion.

Enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by!
Jennifer
