Indeed Laboratories Nanoblur Review

Indeed Laboratories is a Canadian brand with a range of anti-aging products at a reasonable price point. *Nanoblur is their most popular product as it claims to "make you look 10 years younger in 40 seconds" and "erase pores, lines and imperfections."

Scent
This claims to be fragrance free and doesn't have a scent for the most part. I smell something when I put the product right up to my nose, something like the scent of brand new books or boxes if that makes any sense.

Texture/Consistency
The Nanoblur looks like glue out of the tube with its white color. It has a thick texture with a silicone feel. It's best to dab this on to the skin instead of rubbing it in. The product leaves a sticky feeling behind after application.

My Thoughts
This is a good skin correcting product that does blur and smooth out pores and fine lines. BUT there is a learning curve to using this! The directions state to use the Nanblur over foundation. I did just that and generally had unfavorable results with my foundation getting blotchy. Then, I tried to use the product under my foundation and the foundation became difficult to spread and blend out. This is most likely because of the thick and sticky texture of the Nanoblur. I also tried mixing the Nanoblur into my foundation and wow, don't do that!

I found the foundation you use with this really makes a difference after researching and reading other blogs. I think certain ingredients and textures of foundations don't work with the Nanoblur formula. Unfortunately I only tested the product with liquid foundations, although I am curious to see how it would fare with the various cushion compacts I own.

All the pictures below are with the Nanoblur applied underneath foundation unless otherwise stated.

It's Skin Star CC Cream
Hourglass Veil Fluid Makeup
Clio Kill Cover Realest Wear Moist Foundation
Memebox I'm Foundation- on left Nanoblur applied UNDER foundation, on right applied OVER
The foundations that worked best together with the Nanoblur were the Hourglass, It's Skin CC Cream and the Holika Holika BB. The heavier medium to full coverage foundations do not work with the Nanoblur and the ones that do are the sheer foundations with a dewier finish. Also, you should give the product about 5 minutes to set and dry before applying foundation.

FINAL THOUGHTS
If you are someone who has nearly perfect skin with no need for foundation, this is a great product for covering up pores and fine lines while smoothing out the skin. The trouble begins when you try to combine the Nanoblur with a foundation. I had to experiment with the product for over a week to make it work. It really does make a difference which foundation you use the Nanoblur with as you saw from the pictures above. Yes, I did see smoother and younger skin, not 10 years younger, but it wasn't worth the time I spent experimenting. I don't particularly like the texture of the product and it adds an extra step into my makeup routine. I can see why this is a popular product but it's not for me.

Thanks for stopping by,
Jennifer
