Price
I received this in the Memebox DIY Summer Face Set. The product is available at Memebox for $19. You can also purchase it at Amazon for $28.69 with free shipping, TesterKorea for 13,440 won (roughly under $12), or KoreaDepart for $12.91.
Packaging
I love the watercolor effect and colors of the outer box packaging and the cute star design. The CC cream is housed in a sturdy, pastel plastic bottle with a pump containing 50 ml of product.

Scent
There isn't much of a scent to the product but it does have a faint and fresh smell to it that reminds me of summer, something like coconuts. You can't really catch a scent unless you place your nose right up to the CC cream so it won't bother anyone who is sensitive to fragrance.

Texture/Consistency
This is a beige cream with tiny flecks of shimmer that takes on the color of your skin and adapts to it. It is very light and leaves a slight satin sheen. The product sinks into the skin seamlessly and absorbs quickly. It does not feel sticky at all and leaves the skin feeling soft and moisturized.

My Thoughts
I have used this in a variety of ways and it works best for me over a primer. For reference, I have fair to light oily skin, prone to cystic acne, suffer from hyperpigmentation and large pores around the T-zone area. I did try the product as a primer and found that it did not cover my pores, particularly around the nose area. If you don't struggle with large pores, the CC cream would work wonderfully as a primer or makeup base.
Let me address the 7 benefits of this from the product description:
Moisture - those of you with normal-combo skin types will appreciate the extra moisture. I don't need extra moisture in the summer so this would be beneficial for me in the fall and winter.
Whitening - I didn't notice any whitening but there is a brightening effect. Perhaps if you have medium-dark skin the whitening benefits will be more obvious.
Primer - already talked about this as a primer.
Wrinkle Repair - I don't struggle with major wrinkling YET but I am concerned with some fine lines that have developed over the past few years. The product does a good job of smoothing over those fine lines but I haven't noticed an improvement in the lines. (I've been testing the CC cream out for close to a month.)
Makeup Base - doesn't a primer and makeup base go hand in hand?
UV Block - While this does contain SPF 36 I would still use some form of sunblock or sun gel in the summer. I often layer several products that contain SPF because I'm extra careful about sun exposure.
Illumination - it does create a subtle illuminated look and a healthy glow.
A not so very waterproof eyeliner underneath to give you an idea of the coverage.
I wasn't expecting the Star CC cream to have much coverage since CC creams typically don't serve that purpose. It does even out the skin and cover some redness along with acne marks that are on the lighter side. It doesn't provide the coverage I'd like so I have to go in with a BB cream or foundation on top of the product. I found my fingers to be the best form of application although I did try applying the cream with a brush and sponge. It's difficult to say what the wear time was for me since I wore it between a primer and foundation. I did wear the product alone a few times and got about 3-4 hours of wear time before redness and oiliness started peaking through.

FINAL THOUGHTS
I really wanted to like this product but it's not for my skin type or the problems I need to correct. I like that the CC cream feels light on the skin, provides brightening to the face, and smooths out fine lines making the product seem more like a skincare item. This would be perfect for someone who has good skin and doesn't need much coverage. You can wear the product alone, use concealer if you need to, and call it a day. I, on the other hand, had to use a primer, this product, and then a foundation so it created an extra step that wasn't necessary in my makeup routine. I've found this is better used on days I go to the gym. I don't want to wear anything heavy on my face but I want and need a little something to cover up any flaws. Unfortunately, the It's Skin Star CC Cream won't be getting any rave recommendations from me.

Thanks for stopping by,
Jennifer
