XO Memebox I'm Lip Tint, Tint Balm, and Lip Crayon Review

Not too long ago, I hauled a few lip products from the XO Memebox collection. Here are my thoughts about the I'm Lip Tint, I'm Tint Balm, and the recently repackaged I'm Lip Crayon.

I'M LIP TINT in VL663 Russia Purple
Product Description
I'm Lip Tint gives a natural finish like lip tint, gorgeous shine like lip gloss, and vivid pigmentation like lipstick. Infused with premium herb extracts and Manuka honey extract to keep lips nourished and moisturized. Its advanced color-sealing technology allows the color last for up to 12 hours.
Ingredients
Octyldodecanol, Water, Alcohol Denat., Ethylcellulose, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Olivate, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Sodium Hyaluronate, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Honey Extract, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Sorbitan Olivate, Glyceryl Stearate, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Manganese Violet, Palmitic Acid, Lecithin, Stearic Acid, Isopropyl Palmitate, Isostearic Acid, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Xanthan Gum, Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate, Propylene Glycol Stearate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Sorbitan Laurate, Polysorbate 20, Propylene Glycol Laurate, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, CI 19140, CI 45410, Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Fragrance
There are a total of 14 shades including the one I purchased. I've been attracted to violet and purple lip shades lately which is the reason I chose Russia Purple. There is a flat doe foot applicator that starts out wide and gets narrow at the end. The lip tint has a light, non-sticky consistency which looks like a gloss and gives the appearance of fuller lips. You can blot with a tissue if you prefer a matte lip. Once the tint sets, there isn't much transfer. Some of the other shades may wear up to 12 hours but I'd say Russia Purple has medium lasting power, around 5-6 hours. The color fades rather evenly which is nice. The product feels moisturizing and is extremely comfortable on the lips. The pigmentation is not crazy but there is some good color payoff. Each I'm Lip Tint is $14.

There used to be 4 shades sold on Memebox but there only three shades available at the time of this post, 01 Flash Neon Pink, CR008 Lovely Coral, and RD005 Rose Burgundy. The fourth shade, 02 True Red, is currently sold out. The packaging is different for 01 and 02 compared to CR008 and RD005.
It's always fun and interesting to see what shade a reactive lip product will turn into. I was surprised to see Rose Burgundy turn into a pinkish shade and True Red turn into a slightly peachy shade. I wasn't expecting much of a color payoff since these are a lip balm. But, there's a nice sheer wash of color to the lips that looks quite natural and is slightly buildable to a certain point. They're incredibly hydrating with a wear time of 2-3 hours, less if you eat and drink.

I'M LIP CRAYON in 09 Irene

Old packaging on top, new packaging on bottom
There are currently 11 lip crayon shades available. I definitely did not need anymore lip crayons, especially since I already owned the first 6 shades. Read my review here. However, I was curious about the difference in packaging and if the formula was slightly different. The outer packaging has been completely revamped and the crayons are significantly thinner and slightly longer. The size of the newly improved crayons will make it easier in terms of storing more lip products in one drawer or container. It's also easier to apply the crayon with the thinner tip.
Shade 09 Irene is described as an orchid pink color for a youthfully charming makeup expression (hm, interesting description) but it also has a slight magenta undertone. It's quite pigmented and applies evenly. The finish is on the glossy side so this may not be an attractive option if you're looking for a matte lip crayon. This particular shade is creamy and moisturizing upon application but my lips start to feel quite dry after a few hours. I do find some shades 01-03 to be less moisturizing than 04-06 so there may be some inconsistencies throughout the line. Overall it is a moisturizing product but I would still make sure to exfoliate or hydrate your lips beforehand if you're dealing with very dry lips. As the product wears off it starts to cling to and emphasize any dry patches. Each I'm Lip Crayon is $9.

FINAL THOUGHTS
I have a soft spot for Memebox lip products in case you couldn't tell. For the most part, they are great quality for the price you pay. There have been a few times where I've scratched my head and thought the price point was a little high but most of the Memebox brand products are a great value. I'm quite happy with all three products I've mentioned despite already owning waaaay too many lip products. But, I realize the average person doesn't want to spend the money or space on makeup in general so let me sum up the three products according to your possible needs and expectations below.
Go with the I'm Lip Tint if you're looking for a lighter, low maintenance product because it does leave behind a nice stain while hydrating the lips.
Go with the I'm Lip Tint Balm if you're dealing with dry, winter lips and you want a more natural, sheer wash of color on the lips.
I'm not as in love with the I'm Lip Crayon, Irene, but I do love everything about shades 05 Chloe and 06 Bella. They are creamy, smooth, hydrating, and very pigmented. Unless you're in love with the shade Irene I'd go with a different shade if you're interested in the Memebox lip crayons.
