You don’t have to keep on slicing those fruits you have at home because you can get the same amount of goodness with Kocostar’s Slice Mask Sheet! This is the perfect overnight solution to uneven skin tone. Lemon is a natural brightening ingredient which helps reduce the appearance of dark spots and other skin discolorations. This unique mask sheet also allows you to place the patches onto the areas you need more help with. Results are visibly instant after just one use.

HOW TO USE
After cleansing and toning, place the sheet patches on your face and leave on for 15-20 minutes. After removing the sheet massage the remaining essence to allow for better absorption.

INGREDIENTS

PRICE
I purchased the lemon mask for $3 at Memebox and it has a retail value of $4.

My Skin Type
I've got oily, acne prone skin which can be sensitive at times. In my battle with hormonal cystic acne I'm often left with red, angry looking post-inflammatory hyper pigmentation regardless of whether I pick at the pimple or not. I tend to look for sheet masks that calm, soothe, and brighten my skin.

MY THOUGHTS
I was expecting an actual sheet mask and it didn't register in my mind why this was called a Slice Mask Sheet. Definitely a "duh" moment! The slices are lightly scented so I had to stick my nose in the pouch to properly describe it. There's a definite lemon scent but I also thought it smelled like marzipan. That caught me a little off guard but I found the scent pleasant.
The sheet slices are on a plastic film (2 in the pouch) and you can place each slice strategically on your face or anywhere else on your body. Each film contains 6 slices so there are 12 total. You gently peel off each slice from the film like you'd peel of a sticker. The lemon slices remind me of the It's Skin Lemon Hug Oil Patches.
However, the It's Skin Lemon Patches are for the cheeks but I suppose you could put them all over the face like the Kocostar slices. Anyway, each Kocostar slice is sufficiently drenched in essence but I was a little concerned if it would dry out towards the end. There is a good amount of essence left over in the pouch to use the next morning or at night.
I took the slices off after 20 minutes and 3 or 4 of the slices had dried out which is much better than I anticipated. Ordinarily, I wouldn't expect all that much from a brightening mask or product after one use BUT the brand claims "results are visibly instant after one use." Um, that was not the case for me! I'm guessing these claims are for people with very mild skin discolorations. I didn't even notice much of a brightening effect in my overall complexion so I'd say that claim is a total bust for me.

FINAL THOUGHTS
As I've said before you can find plenty of good quality masks for cheaper than $3. There were two issues I had with this product. I'd rather deal with an actual mask sheet than waste precious time peeling off slices and patching them on my face. 12 slices was sufficient for my face but there were a few places, like my cheeks, I wasn't able to cover. The other issue is this did nothing for my skin other than add some light hydration into my face. You might like the Slice Mask Sheet if you only have a few areas on your face that you'd like to brighten or if you want to use these on your decolletage or elbows. Unfortunately, I won't be repurchasing the Kocostar Lemon Slice Mask Sheet in the future.
