Leaders 7 Wonders Amazonian Acai Anti-Pollution Mask Review

I've been eyeing the Leaders sheet masks sold at Ulta since they were first released about five months ago. These particular masks are exclusive to Ulta so you can't find them anywhere else. I was waiting for the 20% off your total purchase coupon because there are no restrictions on any brands. The majority of coupon codes available do not include Leaders products. I got a pretty good deal on them which I'll explain in detail down below.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This advanced bio-cellulose sheet mask provides exceptional skin adherence for powerful results with a contour and fit technology. The mask purifies and neutralizes the effects of pollution on your skin. Can be used on all sensitive skin types.
Available in 5 other varieties:
7 Wonders Himalayan Camellia Pore Minimizing Mask
7 Wonders Caribbean Coconut Calming Mask
7 Wonders Tundra Cranberry Anti-Aging Mask
7 Wonders Kalahari Melon Moisturizing Mask
7 Wonders Mediterranean Olive Brightening Mask
HOW TO USE
Remove the protective film from one side of the mask. Apply side of mask without protective film to face. Remove protective film from the other side of the mask and smooth to fit facial features. Leave mask on for 20-25 minutes. Discard mask and lightly pat face for better absorption.

PRICE
You can purchase all the Leaders 7 Wonders masks at Ulta for $6. I'm not exactly thrilled with the price since you can find the Leaders Coconut Gel Masks, which I love, for around $2.75. They're currently sold out at Memebox but I'm sure they'll be back in stock at some point. Anyway, I used a 20% off coupon on my total purchase at Ulta and was able to get 10% cash back with Ebates on my order so I was okay with the price in the end.

My Skin Type
I've got oily, acne prone skin which can be sensitive at times. In my battle with hormonal cystic acne I'm often left with red, angry looking post-inflammatory hyper pigmentation regardless of whether I pick at the pimple or not. I tend to look for sheet masks that calm, soothe, and brighten my skin.

MY THOUGHTS
The scent of this mask is tolerable for me. It's got a sweet scent, slightly fruity but mostly floral. If you're a regular reader, you know I prefer fruity scents in skincare. Leaders masks seem to fit my face quite well and this Anti-Pollution mask is no different. It doesn't leave those gaps at the sides of the nose and has a wider fit, if anything it's a little too wide. The only thing lacking in terms of fit for my face is the length, just needed to be a little longer to hit the jaw and chin area, but it's not a big deal.
Leftover essence in the pouch after removing the mask.
The sheet mask is saturated with essence (or serum) but it won't drip and get all over the place. I noticed the essence is slightly sticky when I rubbed the remainder of it to my neck and elbows.
I removed the mask after 25 minutes and my face felt sticky for the next hour or so. I skipped the rest of my nightly skincare routine because my face felt sufficiently hydrated. I didn't notice any difference in my overall complexion but then again this is an anti-pollution mask. I have no idea how you would notice if "the effects of pollution are being neutralized and purified from your face." Living in NYC, I thought this would be an interesting mask to try since there are all kinds of fumes coming from every direction when you're out and about.

FINAL THOUGHTS
I woke up the next morning with an especially greasy T-zone, even my cheeks were kind of greasy. I skipped moisturizer and everything the night before and that was a good decision on my part. This mask would most likely be beneficial for dry to normal skin. I would say the best visible thing the Leaders Anti-Pollution mask does is to leave the skin extremely soft. I won't repurchase the mask in the future since I'm not looking for extra hydration. I did not have any active acne the night I used this mask so I can't say if it does or doesn't calm down acne breakouts. The big question is...is this worth $6? For me, it's a no. Personally I love the Leaders Coconut Gel Masks and they're a much better deal. They also don't leave my face greasy and the essence isn't tacky. My favorites are the Balancing and Brightening Recovery and the Orange and Broccoli SuperFood Masks.  I have two more Leaders 7 Wonders masks to review, the Caribbean Coconut Calming and Himalayan Camellia Pore Minimizing Masks, so look out for them in the next week or so.
