Price: I purchased the BHA mask at Tester Korea for 1800 won. You can also find the mask at Korea Depart for $1.63 or Innisfree for $2.20. There is a buy 5, get 5 free promotion on Skin Clinic masks at Innisfree at the time of this post along with free shipping over $60 for the month of February.

My Skin Type: I've got oily, acne prone skin which can be sensitive at times. In my battle with hormonal cystic acne I'm often left with red, angry looking post-inflammatory hyper pigmentation regardless of whether I pick at the pimple or not. I tend to look for sheet masks that calm, soothe, and brighten my skin.

Benefits of BHA(beta hydroxy acid, AKA salicylic acid): BHA has an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial action and is ideal for treating acne prone skin, rosacea, blackheads, enlarged pores, and milia because it can penetrate the oil that is clogging your pores. It can improve hydration, reduce wrinkles, firm skin, and reduce spots from sun damage and marks left after a breakout.

My Thoughts
The fit of this mask is wide so you may need to fold the sides and forehead over depending on your face shape. I personally don't like when sheet masks touch the hairline area because the essence tends to make my hair pretty greasy.

There's an herbal scent and, from what I've read, most of the Skin Clinic Masks have the same herbal scent. Unfortunately I can't describe exactly what it smells like.
The actual mask sheet is rather thin and drenched with essence but not so thin that it will rip on you. I feel as if the Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Masks are more prone to tearing if you don't handle them carefully. There's a tiny bit of essence remaining in the pouch for one more use. I had to adjust the mask a few times because it kept drooping on me, mainly the lower half. There was also a bit of dripping happening under the chin and on to the neck. I used that as an opportunity to massage the essence all over my neck in upward motions. I experienced no tingling, no burning, and no itching which is always a good sign.

20 minutes later, I removed the mask. The essence absorbs rather quickly into the skin and I finished the rest of my nightly skincare routine. I'm not sure if it was my imagination but my skin looked radiant and smooth an hour later. Somehow my PIH didn't look as bad either. I had no active acne on my face at the time (a rare occasion) so I can't say anything about the mask's effects on acne.

Final Thoughts
I've heard good things about the Skin Clinic BHA Mask and I have to agree with the positive response. This didn't leave my face feeling greasy and the essence isn't sticky. I love the way my skin looked after using the mask and I would absolutely repurchase it again. I have the Vita C mask as well and now I really want to use it!
